Haak’u Harmony: an indigenous experience is an evening concert to benefit the Haak’u Museum, showcasing talent from indigenous artists throughout North America! We guarantee you will never experience an environment like ours, to breathe in such unique and diverse talent set against the backdrop of the 367 foot Acoma Mesa, located within the distinctly beautiful Acoma Valley. Featuring the following artist:

Miss Indian World Nicole Alek`eq Colbert (Alaskan Native)

Pamyua (Alaskan Native)

We call it Tribal Funk and World Music... And so will you!

It is our enchanting Inuit harmonies, the sound of the didgeridoo, and the thunderous roll of the African djembe that causes a rich explosion of cultures.

We as Pamyua perform in many ways, one as an a cappella group in which traditional Inuit songs are mixed into a unique classification of sound. To experience the fullness, you must hear and see us perform with the various styles and arrangements of the ultimate new world-groove.

The well-mixed sound re-interrupts what cultural music is all about. We're creating a sound that has it's own culture - it's African - it's Inuit. We have created a sound that will make you believe that there is an actual musical tradition for our mixed heritage. Enjoy!

Ulali (Tuscarora, Mayan, Apache, Yaqui)

Ulali was featured on the sound track of the Miramax film "Smoke Signals." They performed at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival in support of "Smoke Signals" which won the "Audience Choice Award" and "Filmmaker’s Trophy." Ulali recorded on the sound tract for the Turner documentary series "The Native Americans." Two of their songs, "Mahk Jchi" and "Ancestor Song" were featured on Robbie Robertson’s album, "Robbie Robertson and the Red Road Ensemble." Their video "Follow Your Hearts Desire" won "Best Music Video" at The American Indian Film Institute Awards.

Injunuity (Mississippi Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, Mohawk)

Injunuity, started with Nammy Nominated and ADDY Award Winning solo native flute artist Brad Clonch (Mississippi Choctaw) collaborating together with guitarist Jeff Carpenter (Chickasaw). Performing as a duet with their first performance at the Riverwind Casino, the music turned heads of all ages and Brad and Jeff collaborated together on several new pieces. Injunuity grew to include virtuoso solo bass player James Monroe (Chickasaw/Choctaw/Creek) and with new drummer Ashton Booth (Mohawk). Joining the group setting in on the bass and running sound and video, was Robbie Blair (Chickasaw) Performing nation wide at several festivals and events, they are changing the way people listen to Native Flute music! Injunuity is ALL NEW, ALL ORIGINAL, ALL NATIVE band.

Hosted by: James and Ernie Comedy Duo (Navajo)

James Junes and Ernest Tsosie III are “James & Ernie” Native American comedy duo from the Navajo Nation. James and Ernie are the first ever Navajo comedy duo. They have been climbing the comedy ladder entertaining audiences around the Southwest, and are now breaking into the national scene with their latest DVD titled “James & Ernie-fied 04”- Live in Farmington, New Mexico by Time and Tide Production.
